In October 2024, Kulturfabrik will be celebrating its 40(+1)th anniversary (Grand Opening: 4th of October – save the date!).

For this special occasion, the scenographer and lighting designer Marc Thein will create a participatory scenography in the courtyard of the cultural center. To bring  this  project to life, Kulturfabrik needs your help ! They need you to give them your used gelatin color filters. Even the worst of them! Burnt on the edges, small left-over pieces, cut... They want them all! They will be up-cycled, and thanks to Marc Thein, they will find a second life at Kufa. 

If you want to give your gelatin filters, you can : 

• - Send them to kulturfabrik via post (Centre culturel Kulturfabrik, 116, rue du Luxembourg, L-4221 Esch-sur-Alzette) 
• - Drop them off at Kulturfabrik 
• - Or let kufa know and they can come pick them up. 

One last thing, if you want to contribute even more to their upcoming birthday, please write down on the gelatin the first word that comes to your mind when you think of Kulturfabrik  (in the language of your choice).
