Description générale

En tant que lieu de recherche artistique, le Casino Display présentera de septembre 2023 à février 2024 la deuxième édition de son laboratoire de recherche artistique. Encourageant la production de connaissances basée sur la pratique, le Casino Display propose de créer un espace dans lequel la volonté d’expérimentation comme vecteur d’apprentissage et de recherche peut s’épanouir. 

Description du poste

Missions :

• Aide à la mise en place et à la coordination du laboratoire de recherche artistique

• Assistance aux besoins techniques des artistes
• Aide au montage et au démontage d’une éventuelle exposition
• Aide à l’organisation et à la préparation du vernissage et des autres événements publics

Profil :

• Étudiant·e en école d’art
• Langues : bonne maîtrise de l’anglais ; la connaissance du luxembourgeois et du français sera considérée comme un atout
• Bonne débrouillardise technique

• week of 22 January 2024

• week of 19 February 2024

General description of the internship

Living up to its mission as a Space for Artistic Research, Casino Display will organize the second edition of its Artistic Research Lab between September 2023 and February 2024. Based on a practice-led approach to knowledge production, Casino Display is a transdisciplinary a space where the drive for experimentation encourages knowledge.

Internship description

Tasks: 

• to help with the set-up and coordination of the artistic research laboratory
• to technically assist the artists 
• to help with the set-up and dismantling of a potential exhibition
• to help with the organization and preparation of the opening and other public events

Profile: 

• Art school student
• Languages: good command of English; knowledge of Luxembourgish and French will be considered an asset 
• Good technical skills
