Education Manager (m/f/x)

Permanent contract, full-time

The Philharmonie Luxembourg is one of the leading concert halls in Europe and manages the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg (OPL - the national orchestra of Luxembourg).

The education department creates, produces and promotes a wide range of performances for young audiences as well as a diverse program of participation, learning and training.

As an Education Manager, you will be part of the Education Department and will oversee the following tasks:

  • Planning and implementation of workshops, creative and participatory projects for children and adolescents.
  • Project management and organization of staged concert productions for young audiences between 0 and 12 years.
  • Collaboration in the development and implementation of the yearly school program and in education projects in cooperation with the musicians of the OPL.
  • General collaboration in various topics of the Education Department on a content-related and administrative level.

We are looking for an organisationally strong and team-oriented personality with an affinity for music education. You have an academic degree as well as some professional experience in the field of music education and/or in project and cultural management.

Commitment, reliability, and communication skills in contact with artists, colleagues and project partners characterise your working style. Flexibility and the willingness to work weekends are presupposed. Due to an international working environment, fluency in at least two of the following languages is requested: French, English, German.
