Social Media Manager (Working Student)
TWO STEPS TWICE is a young team of music and film enthusiasts working together as a team of freelancers to tell both musical and visual stories. We manage musical artists (EASY EASY, h3nce, Maale Gars or Tuys) and release music (JEWLS, NINON, Reveal Party or THEM LIGHTS) across genres and territories on our label. We are also a video production company focusing on music videos and musical content for brands.
We are looking for a marketing manager to support the label side of the company with a focus on our new imprint called odd4. odd4 empowers progressive and innovative voices from thriving European subcultures. We are the independent home for those who find beauty in the odd, the bold, and the fearless. odd4 complements the TWO STEPS TWICE ecosystem through an international label imprint focused on modern indie rock and alt-pop.
The ideal candidate is a highly organised indie music enthusiast who knows how social media works in 2026 and brings solid experience in video editing and storytelling in short form content.
Contract: Freelance, six months
Schedule: flexible and task-based, 10-20 hours / week
Location: mostly remote, possible shoots with artists (mainly Berlin)
The main responsibilities for this position are:
- Develop short-form video content concepts with artists and our team
- Shoot and edit short-form video content
- Co-run artist and label social media accounts
- Contribute to creative marketing ideas with a focus on social media
Points we are looking for:
Native-level English proficiency
Excellent written and spoken English, with a strong sense for tone, nuance, and storytelling across digital platforms.
Deep understanding of social media ecosystems
Strong knowledge of current and emerging social media trends, formats, and platform-specific best practices (especially short-form video). Ability to adapt strategies quickly in a fast-evolving digital landscape.
Advanced storytelling and audience insight
Proven ability to craft compelling narratives in short-form content, with a solid understanding of audience psychology, attention mechanics, and effective hooks that drive engagement and emotional connection.
Creative and analytical mindset
Ability to balance creative intuition with strategic thinking, using performance insights to refine content and marketing approaches.
Organised, proactive, and collaborative working style
Comfortable working independently as a freelancer while contributing ideas, structure, and momentum within a small, dynamic team.
