Edward Steichen Award Luxembourg
Established in 2004, the Edward Steichen Award Luxembourg stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Edward Steichen, the celebrated Luxembourg-born American photographer and curator. At its core, the award seeks to support and promote promising artists in the realm of contemporary arts.

This aspect of the award is profoundly significant, as it allows young artists to expand their horizons by immersing themselves in the vibrant, diverse and stimulating cultural milieu of New York – an environment that proved immensely fertile for Steichen’s own artistic development.
